Chris M. Spurr

Senior Associate Attorney

chris@mastinlaw.com / (720) 974-9438

During his tenure as a real estate and business attorney, Chris has gained diverse transactional and dispute resolution experience alike. Chris thrives serving as the architect of a deal, navigating the various issues that arise throughout a transaction’s life cycle, and working with his clients to maximize value post-closing. Chris’ ability to anticipate issues and advocate for consensus-based solutions make him a particularly effective transactional attorney; saving his clients time and money without compromising the primary objective.

Prior to rejoining the firm, Chris ran a successful solo practice, gained experience at a large regional firm, and honed his skills in government and non-profit settings alike. Chris’ varied experience supplements his natural ability to view issues through different lenses, and ultimately integrate the various considerations into real world solutions for his clients. Additionally, Chris’ time as a solo practitioner equips him to understand the needs of his business-owner and licensed professional clients that are dealing with risk first hand. With this background, he effectively translates both legal and practical considerations to his clients, and offers counsel that integrates pragmatic solutions where the letter of the law falls short.

Currently, Chris’ practice emphasizes transactions involving both business and real estate objectives that must be achieved in tandem. Whether the deal requires decisive advocacy or a consensus-based approach, Chris never loses sight of a client’s objectives, and exhausts all options to deliver results. Whether a business entity, shareholder, member, individual, licensed professional, or otherwise interested party, Chris will listen intently so to best serve your needs. He holds his relationships with clients in the utmost regard, and firmly believes effective representation begins with unrivaled attention to the same.

Chris’ interests include backpacking, music theory, sailing, and extended stays in Colorado’s National Forests. His interests mirror the skills he employs as an attorney: attentiveness, preparedness and most importantly, problem solving.
