Mr. Hubbard has practiced in numerous areas of the law in his career, including business and real estate transactions, trademark law, estate planning, and in-house corporate counsel matters. His diverse background in both law firm and in-house roles has given him the tools to assist with a broad range of issues any company might confront, including: structuring and forming all types of business entities; business succession through acquisition, merger, reorganization, business planning and/or asset and equity sales; financing transactions; negotiating and drafting contracts; trademark prosecution; litigation management and general business counseling.
His experience in-house saw him work as Corporate Counsel and Director of Risk Management for Prestige Care, Inc., a large Nursing Home and Assisted Living group based in Vancouver, Washington, and at National Storage Affiliates, a publicly traded private storage REIT with locations all over the United States and Puerto Rico. The time he spent working in these environments exposed him to the realities of running a business day to day in high paced and growth-oriented environments. Additionally, Mr. Hubbard became well versed in healthcare law, customer data privacy, litigation management, and numerous types of insurance products at these companies.
Mr. Hubbard’s goal is to make sure his clients’ needs are met in a cost effective and creative manner. He is enthusiastic about his clients’ aspirations and finds great satisfaction in their successes.
In his free time, Mr. Hubbard enjoys fly fishing, hunting, snowboarding, trail running, and spending as much time as possible with his wife, son, and daughter.
